How to Use Chamber Musician Today

ChamberMusicianToday is the ultimate DIY social community.  As a registered member, there are several neat things you can do.    You can create a blog post or add your existing blog to the content flow with Autopost, write a CD Review, add an event to our Calendar, follow other Members, create a Profile for yourself or your group, comment on and retweet posts or simply read about your favorite music and groups.

Getting started is pretty easy.  Sign up in the green box on the upper right. You can then post to the frontpage, CD reviews or calendar page, by clicking on the appropriate link under "Create New Content" in the green box.

How to Add Your Blog

If you want to add your existing blog to the content flow, log in and click on Autopost.  Paste the URL of your RSS feed (this is the URL you get when you click on this button  on your blog) into the top box, put 800 in the box that says "Summary Size," don't put anything in the box about "categories" and save. A copy of your last 10 posts will be pulled into the approval queue.  Once I see them, I'll approve the good ones and you'll start seeing your work on Chamber Musician Today.

If all that sounds like too much work, I'm happy to set you and send you a password you can use to log in, if I have your permission.   Have fun.   Jerry Bowles
